✄GAKIDO will disband

Do you remember when back in July we reported on Visual Kei band GAKIDO losing a member and going on hiatus? *repport*

 Their plans have changed. They won’t go on hiatus but disband.

GAKIDO announced today that after many conversations with members and staff they came to the end that they can’t continue with band activities. After losing vocalist Piyo in a car accident in 2010 and the departure of guitarist Yura and Yuu guitarist Shutaro had stated that they don’t want any member changes anymore. That might be a possible reason for their disbanding now that drummer Tossy decided to leave the band in November. But the members themselves didn't give a particular reason for it. They had even planned to open their official fan club and to go on a free one man tour next year.

Until now only vocalist Yohya has stated that he will definitely continue singing. As soon as we come to know about new bands and projects we’ll let you know.

On October 22nd GAKIDO will start their country wide one man tour that will end with their last live at Shinjuku BLAZE in Tokyo on November 30th.
