☄♪ the GazettE warns fans against "Spoofing" incidents

the GazettE has just issued a warning to fans against "spoofing". The announcement can be read in full below and on the band's Facebook page.

Incidents wherein someone would post as celebrities and ask for money from unsuspecting fans are nothing new and PS Company has issued warnings like this in the past. It is just lamentable that such despicable acts still persist.

Have you been a victim of "spoofing" before or know someone who has been one? Any thoughts on how it can be prevented?

■ WARNING for "SPOOFING" ■
Recently, we often receive the "spoofing" damage reports from fans. These damages incurred by a person who pretend to be our artist. Some ask for a money by using the names of the artists.
Our artists never take an personal contact to an individual fan in person by such as sending a direct mail in any reason.
Please note that those "spoofing" should never be trusted, it could be a crime against an artist and yourself.

Even if you have suffered a loss or damage some, we will not assume any responsibility.
Please be aware of this type of crime.

Thank you in advance for your understanding.
